Stand up for yourself!

It was great to be back in the buzz, re-connecting with familiar faces and having great conversations with some new connections. The IOD Women’s Leadership Conference, facilitated by the amazingly talented Susan Hayes Culleton, who was funny, engaging and inspiring by equal measure, was a smorgasbord of inspiration.
 
I was going to send out these little quotes one at a time, but I was afraid I’d forget, so here you, see if any of them land with you (sorry most of them aren’t attributed). Read them slowly!

  • You can’t fall off the floor
  • Be the other woman that makes other women want to be you
  • Lead with giving, all else follows
  • The question isn’t who is going to let me, who is going to stop me
  • Underestimate me. That’ll be fun!
  • Believe in yourself and all that you are. Know that there is something inside you that is greater than any obstacle.

And my favourite:
